The Church at Auvers framed Van Gogh replica, hand-painted in oil on canvas

Vincent van Gogh beautifully painted the church in Auvers less than 2 months before he died. Compared with the painting of the church in Nuenen painted 5 years earlier Van Gogh's huge development in style is clear.

Although Van Gogh’s father was a pastor of the Dutch Reformed Church, this catholic church that was visible from far outside of Auvers could have made him feel home.

The beautifully restored 100-year-old Italian frame is in good condition and perfcetly brings out the deep blues and light greens in the painting without being too present itself.
